The baseball team snapped the Blair Blazers’ seven-game win streak on May 3, fighting to a 11-7 victory to improve its record to 10-3 on the season.
The first inning began slowly, with neither team scoring. The Blazers broke through in the third inning, scoring four consecutive runs. Despite these runs, the Vikes led the remainder of the game.
James Dionne led the team with three runs, while Dan Duffy, Mike Yang and Drew Aherne followed close behind with two. Paul Balland and Andrew Castagnetti also contributed with one run each.

“The entire team came through today,” Sam Avayou said. “We overcame some rough spots and brought it together for a win.”
The team will travel to Damascus take on the 4-8 Hornets on May 5.
