Winter Chichester Award recipients announced

When Brit Chichester tragically died in April of 1989, his parents, along with the athletic department, established an award to pay tribute to fallen athlete. He was not the most skilled or the fastest athlete, but spent countless hours trying to be the best he could be and put all his of teammates before himself.

The Britton N. Chichester Sportsmanship Award was established to recognize senior student-athletes at Whitman who exemplify hard work, spirit, kindness and dedication in their athletic endeavors. Athletes from every team select a senior teammate who best exemplifies sportsmanship throughout the season. The winners from the winter season are:

Eric Harder: Wrestling

Adam Goode: Swim & Dive
