The boys lacrosse team (1–1) destroyed the Quince Orchard Cougars (1–1) 10–2 Monday night.

The Cougars scored the first goal of the game, but the Vikes scored four goals in the first quarter to give the Vikes a 4–1 lead with two minutes left in the first quarter. QO added another goal near the end of the quarter to cut the Vikes’ lead to 4–2 at the end of the first.

At halftime, the Vikes held a comfortable lead at 5–2. The defense dominated the Cougars in the second half, allowing no goals, and the offense scored five more goals to propel the Vikes to an eight goal win.

Attackers Lucas Hilsenrath and Creighton Armstrong had three goals each and midfielder Max Fletcher contributed two goals and two assists.

The team next plays the Northwest Jaguars (0-1) Wednesday at 7:15 pm at home.
