Baseball falls to Sherwood 9–5

The baseball team (1–1) lost to the Sherwood Warriors (2–0) 9–5 Tuesday.

Although the Vikes took an early 1–0 lead, they had trouble stopping Sherwood’s dominant offense. The Warriors gained a 3–1 lead in the second inning and remained ahead for the rest of the game.

The team next faces the Poolesville Falcons (0–1) at home Thursday at 3:45.
