Girls tennis opens season with 7-0 win over B-CC

The girls tennis team (1-0) started the season off strong with a 7-0 triumph against rival B-CC Barons Friday.

The Vikes had a great game all around, with key player Sarinah Wahl leading the squad to victory after winning a highly contested match against a tough competitor.

“We really did great as a team; we shut out our rivals which sets us up amazingly for the rest of season,” senior Lauren Evoy said.

The girls are hoping for their second win Wednesday at Magruder at 3:30 pm.
