Seniors take center stage at last Coffeehouse of the year

Friday night’s Coffeehouse gave senior musicians a chance to showcase their talent for the last time. The bands included Coffeehouse regulars and newer bands that played for the first time. In order of appearance, Of Cabbages and Kings, Binky and the Fras, Koopatroop, Louis Wolff, Still Thinking, The Whittier Woodlums, Ellen Hoffman, Core Four and Inbar Millo performed. Each act played covers of other songs, in addition to some bands who also played original songs.

In addition to the regular Coffeehouse crowd, a substantial proportion of the audience came from the fashion show. Coffeehouse started later than normal, at 9 p.m., so people could attend both events.

Originally, bands prepared 15 minute sets, but to meet the 11:30 p.m. finish time most bands had to cut one song from their set list.
