The girls basketball team crushed the Rockville Rams 71–26 Monday night, bringing their record to 12–3.
The Vikes forced multiple turnovers early on and capitalized by jumping out to a 18–6 lead. Guard and leading scorer Abby Meyers hit three three-pointers during the first quarter.
The Rockets couldn’t get anything going from there on out against the stifling Vike defense, and the Vikes heavily outscored them in every quarter.
Meyers notched 27 points, while guards Marie Hatch and Hannah Niles each scored ten.
