Mexican drug lord El Chapo caught after escaping prison six months ago
Joaquín Guzmán, better known as El Chapo is set to be extradited to the United States where he faces drug trafficking charges. Guzman previously claimed in an interview that he “supplies more heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana than anybody else in the world.” Click here to learn more about his capture and the potential charges.

Four new elements to be added to the periodic table
Elements 113, 115, 117, and 188 were officially recognized by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry. The elements have not been named yet. The table was last updated in 2011 with elements 114 (Flerovium) and 116 (Livermorium). Click here to learn more about the announcement.
