Boys soccer extended their win streak to two games this Friday with a dominating 4-0 victory over the Wakins Mill Wolverines. Whitman’s solid offense was able to pour in goals all game and the defense gave goalie Ian Atkinson an easy night.
The Vikes controlled the game opening the floodgates early. Right back Andreas Djurhuus, forward Davey Mason, midfielder Jonny Schneider and midfielder George Xourias all registered goals.
The defense outmatched the Wolverines, limiting their chances on goal all night.
The boys will look to continue their dominance this season with a tough schedule this upcoming weak, facing off against Blair and Quince Orchard.
“Next week we know we are playing good teams, but if we keep playing the way we have been I think we can win,” center back Christopher Whittle said.
If the Vikes can make it through next week with an untarnished record, they will be poised for a playoff run.
