Boys tennis improves to 5-0, faces Wootton Friday

Boys tennis defeated the Rockville Rams 6-1, April 22, improving to a 5-0 record. Coach Jasen Gohn anticipated an easy win and put in many alternates to give them playing time and experience for the season.

The one loss of the day was from reserve Sam Talisman, who was filling in for number three singles player Aaron Hoffman.

The Vikings’ three year winning streak could come to an end tomorrow, when they face their toughest match of the season, against Wootton, which has a strong lineup and a perfect record.

Regardless of tomorrow’s results, the Vikings will remain contenders for the county title.
