The 7-1 baseball team defeated the 1-7 Churchill Bulldogs on the road April 11 with a final score of 10-3.
Pitchers Cal Brooks, Patrick Hisle and Max Steinhorn all stood out on the mound. Steinhorn finished the game with a total of six strike-outs while Hisle finished with two and Brooks with one.
Offensively the Vikings were productive in every inning and catcher Nick Bode contributed three RBIs to help lead the team to victory.
Steinhorn contributed two RBIs in addition to his stellar pitching performance, and first baseman Dan Duffy and third baseman Andrew Castagnetti each finished the game with one RBI. The victory came easily as Churchill has struggled in recent years.
The Vikes take on the 7-1 B-CC Barons at home April 13 in hopes of grabbing their eighth win of the season to continue their streak.
