The 3-1 Coed volleyball team defeated the Wheaton Knights April 10 on the road by a final score of 3-0.
Last year the Knights swept the Vikes 3-0, so they traveled to Silver Spring with one word in their minds: redemption. The team played well offensively with its well placed serves, blocks and spikes.
The team has a tough season ahead of them with games against Churchill and Sherwood, who have very strong offensive and defensive squads. The boys and girls hope to continue working well as a team and win more games.
Come out and support the Vikes when they take on the Poolesville Falcons April 12 home.
