The boys basketball team fell to the Richard Montgomery Rockets 56-44 Jan. 30, dropping its record to 9-7.
The loss to RM locks up the division for the Churchill Bulldogs, whose record is now 13-3.
“We came out with a lack of intensity, and they were able to take advantage of us,” captain Daniel Lowet said.
The team struggled for the majority of the game as the usual leading scorer, captain Andrew Castagnetti, scored only two points. Recently outstanding guard Max Steinhorn scored seven points and shot one for five from the floor.

The one bright spot for the Vikes was Lowet, who scored 17 points and pulled down 12 rebounds.
The boys look to rebound from the loss when they take on powerhouse Springbrook Feb. 1 away.
