Girls volleyball falls to Northwest, 3-0

The girls volleyball team lost 3-0 to the 8-5 Northwest Jaguars on senior night Oct. 23, lowering its overall record to 4-10.

The girls came out confident after winning two of their last three games. However, in the first game, the Jaguars dominated the Vikes, finishing with a final score of 25-14.

The Vikes picked up the intensity in pace in the second game. With a powerful offensive effort by both teams, the lead volleyed back and forth, with the Vikes desperately trying to tie the match at 1-1. Despite the valiant effort, Northwest clinched the second game by a final score of 25-22.

The Jaguar’s streaks continued as they beat the Vikes 25-13 in the third and final game.
