The boys lacrosse team defeated the 7-4 Damascus Hornets in a strong performance May 7 with a score of 19-4, improving its record to 8-6.
The Vikes’ relentless offensive pressure was a major factor in the game. Attacks Richard Miller and Christian Sanson each scored five goals and attack Trevor Hains also contributed a hat trick with three goals. Additionally, Dustin Gray, Grant Miller, Andrew Bick and Justin Lancelotta each netted one goal and captain Ryan Craig scored two.
The defense was strong as well, limiting the Hornets to only four goals.
The boys look to improve their record and start out strong in the playoffs when they face the 7-6 Paint Branch Panthers away May 9.
