Police arrested a male student for theft this afternoon.
The student was charged with theft after a student reported a missing backpack to security assistant Paul Marshall earlier today. The backpack, with keys and a wallet missing, was later found in a boys’ bathroom.
Security assistant Cherisse Milliner called the police to apprehend the student, who also faces punishment from the school, Milliner said. The usual punishment for theft is ten-day suspension.
“We’re definitely cracking down on theft and hopefully putting an end to it,” Milliner said.
