Football loses to Damascus, drops record to 4-4

The football team lost to the 7-1 Damascus Swarmin’ Hornets, 28-14, Oct. 21, bringing its record to 4-4.

The Vikes scored off a pass from running back Zac Morton to Michael Flack. Flack also scored by running from three yards out.

Damascus running back Trevor Patton was too much for the Vikes’ defense, as he rushed for three touchdowns on the night.

The Vikes aim to recover when they host the 2-6 Walter Johnson Wildcats Oct. 28.
