The girls tennis team defeated the Damascus Hornets, 7-0, Oct. 11, improving its record to 10-0.
Singles player Nicole Welch defeated her opponent 6-0, 6-2, while Camilla Beisenova won 6-1, 6-1. Anna Volkov defeated her opponent 6-1, 6-2.
Doubles players Rachel Sisco and Rachel Arnesen topped their Damascus opponents 6-0, 6-4.
“We came into the match very calm and prepared,” Volkov said, “and we came out of the match extremely confident.”

With an undefeated streak of ten, the girls travel to face the Walter Johnson Wildcats Oct. 17 in the last match of the regular season.
