The volleyball team fell to the Walter Johnson Wildcats, 3-0, Sept. 19, dropping its record to 1-2.
Despite the Vikes’ early lead in the first game, Wildcats made a comeback for the victory.
The Wildcats then handily won the second game, but the third game was closely contested between the two teams. Neither squad was able to gain more than a two-point advantage until the end, when Walter Johnson pulled ahead for good.
“It was a really good game,” junior Catherine Benz said of the loss. “We played really hard and helped each other to stay focused.”
