The varsity girls volleyball team fell to the Gaithersburg Trojans 3-0 Sept. 2, dropping their record to 0-1.
Led by Paulina Levy, Catherine Benz and Maddie Craig, the Vikes kept the game close but failed to secure any of the three matches.
The Vikes had some success playing at the net, but junior Linn Bumpers said they need to improve.
“We need to work on getting our passes up and communicating,” Bumpers said.
