The softball team fell to Damascus, 13-1, on May 5, dropping its record to 6-6-1.
Damascus took control of the game from the start with three home runs in the first inning. The early deficit combined with errors by the Vikings prevented the team from making a late comeback.
Mental errors and a lack of solid hits are two of the Vikings’ main problems this season.
