The boys lacrosse team fell to the Walter Johnson Wildcats, 11-9, on May 6, dropping its record to 7-4.
The absence of starters Adam Bevirt, Nathan Golightly and captain Connor Gordon hurt the Vikes, who, despite playing well for the first three quarters of the game, couldn’t keep it going in the fourth. The Wildcats controlled most of the ground balls and capitalized on turnovers by the Vikes’ offense.
Ryan Craig, Sam Oshinsky and Christian Sanson all had two goals each. Will Deutsch had three.
