The softball team fell to the Seneca Valley Screaming Eagles, 11-1 on April 30, dropping its record to 6-6-1.
Plagued by errors, the Vikes could not overcome the problems the team has faced all season.
At the plate, it was tough for the Vikes to hit off of Seneca Valley’s pitcher, who, according to infielder Sarah Macy, was faster than the other pitchers the Vikes had seen this season.
Some bright spots for the Vikes included a deep hit by infielder Kelly Sieber and solid pitching from Helen Rosenthal.
