The boys tennis team was handed its first loss of the season on April 7, in a 4-3 defeat against the Churchill Bulldogs.
The ones doubles team of seniors Jacob Pine and Adam Schefkind won their match in three sets, 3-6, 6-2 and 6-0. The three and four singles players each won their matches as well, with freshmen Sean Ngo and sophomore Joe Davis respectively.
Freshmen Lucas Schoch had a hard fought match, but fell victim to cramps near the end of his match and eventually lost in three sets.

“It’s a tough defeat to take,” Schefkind said. “But it’s going to motivate us and we’re looking to improve and get revenge later in the season.”
