Varsity Field Hockey defeated the the Springbrook Blue Devils in strokes after double overtime, Oct 29, advancing to the second round of the playoffs.
Viking goalie Emily Koroshetz led the team’s defensive effort. The teams battled back and forth, but neither team managed to score throughout rugulation and two overtimes. Finally, in strokes, Jennifer Kay, Celeste Pilatoand Robyn Susskind scored while Koroshetz only allowed two Blue Devils to score.
The girls avanged their Regional Playoff loss to Springbrook from last year, which also went to strokes and will play the Magruder Colonials Tuesday, November 3
