Cross Country competed in a dual meet against the B–CC Barons and Northwood Gladiators at Northwood High School on Wednesday. The girls placed first and the boys came in second. 

In the boys 5,000 meter, senior Ben Lesser led the Vikes, placing sixth overall with a time of 17:59. Junior Greg Garner followed shortly behind, placing seventh overall with a time of 17:59. The Vikes also saw impressive performances from sophomores Mark Cunniff and Jackson Megary, placing ninth and tenth with times of 18:10 and 18:13, respectively. 

The girls were led by seniors Alicia Lauwers, Emmersen Weinberg, and Elizabeth Sklaire, placing second, third and fourth with times of 21:18, 21:37, and 21:50 respectively, The girls placed first, with six runners placing in the top ten. Sophomore Emilie Gros-Solvinska and senior Madeleine Blaisdell came in fifth and sixth shortly after, with times of 21:57 and 21:57.5, respectively. 

The Vikes will compete next in the Bull Run Invitational at Hereford High School on Saturday.
