Cross Country competed in the Oatlands invitational Saturday. The girls placed third in the varsity 5,000 meter while the boys failed to place in the top ten in the same event.

Seniors Emmersen Weinberg and Alicia Lauwers finished 32nd and 33rd, with times of 20:26 and 20:28, respectively. Senior Elizabeth Sklaire followed in 50th with a time of 20:57. 

Sophomore Jackson Megary led the Whitman boys, finishing 52nd with a time of 17:23. Sophomore Mark Cunniff came in shortly after in 98th with a time of 17:55. Senior Ben Lesser and Junior Greg Garner ran times of 18:14 and 18:22, respectively, to place 126th and 142nd. 

The Vikes compete next on Wednesday against B–CC and Northwood at Northwood High School.
