The girls lacrosse team (4–0) conquered the Walter Johnson Wildcats (3–1) 8–6 Friday in a persistent defensive showing.

The Vikes led throughout the game, passing the ball well and keeping possession. The team’s defense caused many turnovers along with a great performance from goalie Jackie Shipp. Attacker Faith Parker led the offensive attack in scoring with three goals.

The team’s next game is home against the Winston Churchill Bulldogs on Monday at 7pm.
