In a heartbreaking loss, the girls tennis team (5‒3) struggled against the Richard Montgomery Rockets (5‒2), losing the match 2‒5.

Despite victories from first doubles team Ellen Middleton and Elise Gruehl and third doubles team Emily Battan and Brynn O’Connor, the Vikes were not able to claim the victory. After defeating the Rockets in their match against them last season, the Vikings were disappointed with the loss and hope to recover from this setback.

The Vikes return home to take on the Wheaton Knights on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
