The cheerleading team won third place in the County Championships this past weekend at Blair High School.
The team scored the most points in the competition, however dropped to third place due to a safety deduction.
The team has focused a lot more on their practices this year, and is excited about their result, senior Issie Griffith said.
“Working together as a team has brought us together,” Griffith said. “Instead of thinking about our own success, we are all thinking of the team’s goals. We hope to keep up the same work ethic and dedication in future competitions.”
