The swim and dive team paddled its way to victory against the Northwest Jaguars, Dec. 14. The boys won, 125-44, and the girls won, 124-44.
Despite many of the team’s top swimmers being out due to club meets, the Vikes rose to the challenge. Senior Kyle Campbell led the team, winning the 200IM and the 100 Back, while managers Kai Johnston and Stefan Stoica had to step up and swim as well.
“Everyone did a really good job stepping up the task,” senior Kyle Campbell said. “Despite the fact that we only had a few people at the meet we were extremely loud and organized.”
The Vikings look to continue their momentum against the Sherwood Warriors next Saturday, Dec. 21.
