The field hockey team suffered its first loss of the season against Holton Arms by a final score of 2-4, Sept. 10 at home.
The first half opened slowly with both sides playing solid defense until Holton Arms scored, causing the Vikes to trail by a goal at the half.
Despite being outplayed for the majority of the second half, the Vikings attempted a comeback. Forward Ellie Gill had two shots in the final seven minutes while the Viking defense limited Holton Arms to one.

The Vikings look to rebound from the loss when they take on the Poolesville Falcons, Wednesday, Sept. 12.
