The boys lacrosse team defeated the 8-7 Paint Branch Panthers in their first playoff game May 9 with a final score of 15-4, improving its record to 9-6.
Attacks Christian Sanson and Trevor Hains had five and four goals respectively to help the Vikings prevail in the tough conditions. Attack Richard Miller and midfielders Andrew Bick and Dustin Gray each scored one goal, while captain Ryan Craig scored a hat trick.
Fighting through the constant downpour and soaking field, the Vikes played strong offense and tight defense to shut the Panthers down.
The boys look to improve their record and continue their playoff run when they face the Churchill Bulldogs away May 11.

We should really have the song Baby playing next time we play Paint Branch in football. It would be a perfect distraction so we could at least win ONE more trophy for the football team.
