The softball team fell to 1-4 on the season when it lost to the Quince Orchard Cougars, 6-5, April 13.
The Vikings forced the game into extra innings but the Cougar offense prevailed in the end.
Pitcher Helen Rosenthal helped keep the team in the game, striking out six batters. Rachel Sisco led the offense with multiple RBIs.
“We played really well defensively,” catcher Sydney Gertzog said. “We just need to start winning these close games.”
