Benihana Bethesda chief chef cooks up a storm to entertain customers

Whether you want to celebrate a birthday, meet new people or just enjoy some tasty Japanese food, you can count on Benihana for a fun way to spice up your night.  From onion volcanoes to flying shrimp tails, the employees of Benihana are more than just master chefs–they’re master entertainers.

Cesar Jover began working at Benihana 22 years ago as a busboy. Now, he is chief chef at Benihana Bethesda. Serving over one hundred customers a night, Jover said he aims to make all of them happy.

“I can talk to the customers all the time, and I feel happy when I actually cook for [them], and they give me feedback.”
