The swim and dive team split its meet with the Churchill Bulldogs Dec. 17, with the boys falling and the girls winning by one point.
For the boys, Patrick Scordato finished second in the 50 and 100 yard freestyles with times of 22.23 and 48.19 seconds respectively.
Amanda Kuhn dominated the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:15.26. Charlotte Costello finished third in 2:26.66.
Reia Tong placed first in the 100 yard freestyle, finishing the race in 53.29 seconds.
In the 400 yard free relay, Tong, Kuhn, Charlotte Meyer and Sarah Kannan defeated the Churchill girls in an extremely close race that came down to the very end.
“I had to get to the wall first using everything I had left,” Kuhn said, “and I did.”
The girls once again proved their dominance by defeating another local rival in a close match.
The team takes on the Blair Blazers Jan. 7.
