P. Diddy’s latest release is a confusing, unorganized and overall horrible concept album about a relationship on Europe’s international rail system. “Last Train To Paris,” released on December 13, is an uninspired compilation of everything that’s wrong with modern pop-radio music.
Throughout the album, Diddy combines hip-hop, pop and techno influences, but rather than sounding unique, the music comes off as muddled and confusing. Each of the 18 tracks sounds just like the one before it, making the whole album seem like it’s on repeat.
Even though Diddy assembled an all-star cast of guest performers including Lil’ Wayne and Drake, they aren’t enough to make the album itself seem strong. On, “Angels,” Diddy samples a verse from rap legend The Notorious B.I.G., shamefully ruining the music of one of the most influential rappers ever.
Since his 1999 album “Forever,” Diddy’s career has been on a steady downward spiral. Diddy seems to believe that by incorporating young, talented rappers into his music, he will become as famous as he was in the mid ’90s. This will most likely not happen.
Although there are some horrible cameos on the album, rapper T.I. has an exceptional verse on “Hello Good Morning,” one of the album’s only exciting songs. Otherwise, Diddy fails to deliver a new and exciting album, and tracks like “Your Love” show Diddy’s current lack of musical inspiration and strength.

This wasn’t his best album ever, but it does have a few good songs and not just “an exceptional verse” in one song.
It’s also a shame that the other people who worked with him didn’t mention anything because now they have a small dark mark on their career, but many of the artists on the album have been consistant in their music quality – up to a certain point.
