Co-ed volleyball conquers Paint Branch 3–1

By Ally Navarrete

The co-ed volleyball team (2–1) took down the Paint Branch Panthers 3–1 Wednesday.

The Vikes’ communication improved from their first two games of the season to help them defeat the Panthers in the first two sets. Right-side hitter Farland Lee’s positioning was effective to help the Vikes defend their court.

In the third set, the Vikes struggled to keep up their communication and the Panthers played a cohesive set to ultimately win. The squad came back in the fourth set, led by libero Gianni Rasetto who played strong defense.

The team next faces the Wootton Patriots Friday at 5:30 at home.
