Boys volleyball falls to Wheaton 3–0

By Ally Navarrete

The boys volleyball team (1–1) fell to the Wheaton Knights in straight sets Monday.

The squad’s offense struggled against the Knights’ two middle hitters, who consistently blocked the Vikes’ scoring attempts. All three sets were relatively close, with each team scoring over 20 points in each set. The Fong brothers, setter Colby and middle back Cam, led the Vikes’ defense, but the team struggled to overcome the Knights’ powerful offense.

The team next faces the Paint Branch Panthers Wednesday at 7pm at Paint Branch High School.
