The baseball team (1–0) destroyed the Richard Montgomery Rockets (0–1) in a dominant 9–2 victory Monday.

The Vikes jumped out to a quick 3–0 lead and never let the Rockets back into the game.

The team was led by Zach Werkman who pitched five no-hit innings and first baseman Tyler DeMartino who got two hits for three RBIs.
