Boys volleyball defeats Poolesville 3–0 in season opener

The boys volleyball team (1–0) took down the Poolesville Falcons (0–1) in three sets in their season opener Thursday.

The Vikes dominated on the court, winning all three sets of the game. Setter Colby Fong had a backwards set into the corner for the winning point. Outside hitter Greg Shaffer and libero Zain Memon also had strong performances, contributing to the Vikes’ sweep.

The team next faces the Wheaton Knights Monday at 5:15 at Wheaton High School.
