The boys lacrosse team (9–3) moved on to section semifinals after the Kennedy Cavaliers (0–13) forfeited the game Wednesday night.

The Cavaliers handed the game to the Vikes since only seven of their players showed up. The team was notified of the forfeit right before the game as the national anthem was interrupted by an announcement over the PA system.

The Vikes will advance in the playoffs as they take on rival B–CC at home on Wednesday at 4pm.
