Baseball falls to Quince Orchard 4–7

By Jessie Solomon

In their last game on Monday, the baseball team (9–6) failed to hang on against the Quince Orchard Cougars (11–5), ultimately losing 4–7.

While the Vikes have a powerful offensive lineup, the Cougars’ defense became unstoppable. The squad consistently struggled getting hits and RBIs.

Despite the loss, third baseman Sean Fleming had a stellar game and received the Player of the Game award.

In their next game at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Blair, the Vikes hope to bring back their winning momentum.
