Boys soccer

The boys soccer team (12–2) outlasted the Northwest Jaguars in overtime 3–2 to end the regular season.

The game was tied 2–2 at the end of regulation, and in overtime forward Andreas Djurhuus scored his second goal to get the Vikes the win.

The squad’s next game will be a playoff matchup TBD.

Girls soccer

The girls soccer team (7–2–3) dropped their final game of the season 2–1 against the Northwest Jaguars on senior night.

The Vikings fell behind early, allowing two goals in the first half. Despite an overall strong performance, the Vikes couldn’t translate opportunities into points until a goal by midfielder Chelsea Cahill.

The Vikes next play next in the playoffs against a team TBD.

Girls volleyball

The girls volleyball team (5–6) dominated the Seneca Valley Screamin’ Eagles 3–0, ending their four game losing streak.

Libero Lucia Mitnik led the Vikes with 12 digs and four back row attacks. The Vikes controlled all three sets 25–16, 25–14, and 25–11.

The squad’s next game is Thursday at home against the Blair Blazers.
