Boys soccer narrowly loses to Churchill 1–0
October 21, 2015
Once the Bulldogs scored about 60 minutes into the game, they bunkered down on defense and made the Vikings pay for their own errors.
“They scored off our mistake, and once that happened, frustration kicked in,” midfielder Carlos Lovo said. “We had many chances, we just couldn’t capitalize.”
Going into the postseason, the team hopes to execute their game plan more effectively.
“We need to get back to what we were doing during the five-game win streak,” Lovo said. “We need to play fast, and with conviction.”
The Vikings will try to correct their form going into the last game of the regular season Wednesday at Northwest, a 7–3 team coming off a 5-0 victory against Springbrook.
