The boys lacrosse team defeated the 7-4 Quince Orchard Cougars in a close game May 2 with a final score of 7-5, improving its record to 6-6.
Quince Orchard started off strong and scored the first two goals of the game but the Vikings refused to be discouraged, fighting back hard.
Attack Christian Sanson had a hat trick with three goals to lead the team to victory. Midfielders Dustin Grey and Andrew Bick scored one goal each.
Midfielder Ryan Craig, who is also a captain, netted two goals to contribute to the team’s comeback and seal the big victory.
“The defense played fantastically,” defender Matt Howell said. “Our offense stepped up with some goals too.”
The boys look to break 500 and recover their winning record when they face the Seneca Valley Eagles at home May 4.
