Out with the old and in with the new — musically, at least. Many bands are performing early this year with new singles and new albums, and the Black & White can help you choose the best concerts.

Augustana: Feb. 4 at the 9:30 Club

The San Diego band is on tour again this winter and will play songs from their fourth album “Augustana,” as well as other hit singles such as “Boston.” Their style likens to The Fray but with an indie vibe.

The Deadmeat Tour with Steve Aoki and Datsik: Feb. 11 at the Fillmore

The wub-wub-wub dubstep beat won’t die yet…at least not until after this tour. Steve Aoki and Datsik have remixed songs by Kanye West, LMFAO, Wu-Tang Clan and others, so be prepared for a concert that is both wild and exciting.

O.A.R.: March 3 at the 9:30 Club

For fans of this local band, O.A.R. is back and playing songs from their 2011 album “King.” Money from ticket sales will go to the Heard the World Fund, a non-profit organization created by the band to support youth education programs in the world.

Black Keys and Arctic Monkeys: March 9 at the Verizon Center

These two rock bands are performing together this spring with songs from their newer albums “El Camino” and “Suck it and See.” The Black Keys have gained a following from their upbeat rock songs like “Set You Free” and “10 A.M. Automatic.” The Arctic Monkeys originated in England, and their rock singles like “Fake Tales of San Francisco” have led to a large following all over the world.

Hot Chelle Rae: April 11 at the 9:30 Club

Fans of the Jonas Brothers will love this emerging pop band from Nashville. Hot Chelle Rae is back in D.C. after performing on the National Mall this past fall. They will play songs from their Nov. 20ll album “Whatever,” such as “Tonight, Tonight” and “I Like it Like That.”

The Ting Tings: April 12 at the 9:30 Club

This two-person English pop duo drew attention with their debut, “We Started Nothing.” Now they’re back from their hiatus with a brand new 2012 album, “Sounds from Nowhereville.” The album on drops Feb. 27, so this concert will be full of brand new music.

Fun.: May 4 at the 9:30 Club

Glee-watchers will know the song “We Are Young” from an episode in December. Nate Reuss formed Fun. after his old Arizona based band, The Format, broke up in 2008. This New York City indie band will drop its second album “Some Nights” Feb. 21 and will also play singles from their previous albums.

Lady Antebellum: May 20 at Merriweather Post Pavilion

This country pop band is appearing this spring for its “Own the Night” tour. They will play songs from the new album, such as the hit singles “Need You Now” and “Just a Kiss.” Fans of Taylor Swift will like this band because of its similar style.
