Known for his bright smile, readiness to learn and love of the color red, student Nick Gallagher passed away Jan. 10 of natural causes. He was 17.
Nick was a dedicated member of the Best Buddies club, and he enjoyed playing piano in the practice rooms and aiding transcript secretary Susan Katz as part of the School and Community Based learning program.
“He loved his classmates,” special education teacher Veronica Garner said. “His parents told us he loved coming to school.”
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
