The Black & White

Mira Dwyer

Grade: 11

Interests: Soccer, track, DECA, journalism

Why did you join the Black & White? When I was younger, I heard about the Black & White and became instantly intrigued in journalism. My interest grew and eventually led me to the journalism class last year where I learned the importance of honest reporting, clear writing and teamwork, thus leading me to the Black & White where I explore these interests further.

Why are you well suited to write/edit for your section or to perform your job? I’m very curious about what is happening around the school and I love keeping up with current events. I have good connections with people around the community, can turn around a pretty quick story when needed, and am concise in my writing, all of which are important for news writing.
