Why did you join the Black & White? I joined the Black & White to get experience in the field of journalism and have an opportunity to learn more about writing and reporting.
Why are you well suited to write/edit for your section or to perform your job? I am well suited to be a feature editor because I have a year of experience writing mainly feature stories and am aware of how the writing and editing process works. I also generally keep up with current events and have an idea of what the Whitman community is interested in reading about in a student newspaper.
